Baltic Sea Congress of Critical Infrastructure and Wind Farm Security, Szczecin, October 4-5
A strategic aspect of the Congress will be the analysis of new possibilities of the Polish Navy and Armed Forces in supporting operators in protecting critical maritime infrastructure, including wind farms in the Baltic Sea. Participants will also learn about the possibilities of using unmanned aerial vehicles, underwater vehicles and artificial intelligence in CI and OWF protection and their applications.
The Baltic Sea Congress will also determine the scale of hybrid, terrorist and military threats in the Baltic region, as well as the role and activities of NATO in the maritime security system. We plan to conduct a decision-making game with the participation of representatives of various state institutions and the Armed Forces regarding possible scenarios of a hybrid/terrorist attack on CI, the IMF or the Baltic Pipe.
The second day of the Congress on October 5 will be held at the Headquarters of the NATO Northeast Multinational Corps in Szczecin. The topic of the panel will be: NATO forces and their role on the north-eastern flank of the Alliance. Critical infrastructure of the Baltic Sea basin and its importance in the system of powering NATO troops and achieving their readiness for action. The patronage of the Congress was taken by Michał Jach / Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for National Defense and the Ministry of Infrastructure.
