The conference was held on 14 and 15 October at the Novotel Hotel, and the second part of the staff of 12 Mechanized Brigade in Szczecin, where we could see how the military uses modern technologies in operational activities. During the two-day conference, the participants listened to scientists, experts, manufacturers and decision-makers, dealing with BSP, but not only. Prof. Miroslaw Gerigk from Gdansk University of Technology presented the prototype of a revolutionary drone sea, which could force actions MW offensively and defensively. Similarly Interesting presentation presented by Dr. Eng. Richard Rugała of Marine Science Center on autonomous platforms and submarines mine action. There was also a presentation of the development prospects of unmanned ships that could arise in Szczecin. Szczecin has a rich intellectual base for the creation and development of unmanned technology. West Pomeranian University of Technology conducts a study of these technologies.

Bezpilotowców market will grow?

I think that dynamic is huge. This was evident during the International Defence Industry Exhibition in Kielce. This was particularly visible at the stand of Polish Group Armament, which slowly grows into a leader in this industry. PGZ appointed a consortium tied between PGZ, PIT-RADWAR, Air Force Institute of Technology and Military Zaklady Lotnicze No. 2 in Bydgoszcz, which deal with the development of this technology. This is a chance for the development of Polish unmanned aircraft systems. According to the National Construction Programme Unmanned Aircraft Company will offer co-Polish army m. In. E-310 platform developed jointly by Polish companies belonging to the PGZ. Unmanned system short-range E-310. This solution for air monitoring across the Polish. Development perspectives of Polish technology BSP presented at the conference, Dr. Eng. Thomas Gugała director. PGZ unmanned programs. The conference was also a very substantial segment of the sea thanks to the support of the Director of the Bureau of Maritime Platform PGZ Joanna Sztiller. Word in Szczecin managed to actually collect outstanding group of specialists in the field of unmanned technology both in the air and sea.

What are the comments after the conference?

Extremely positive. Surprised first of all participants who came from all over Polish, extremely high professional level of the conference. Rang telephones and requests for further such projects. I am glad that the Conference of Safety Forum Szczecin has been so well received. Recall that this was its second edition. Therefore, we will invest in the brand Safety Forum Szczecin and organize biannual conferences on various substantive importance for safety and industry topics. This success has also locally, because the region of Western Pomerania is very important for the security of the country. Here, in fact it collected close to 20 percent. Polish defense potential, such as the 12 Mechanised Division, Multinational Corps North - East, 8th Coastal Defence Flotilla,

Drone or drones commonly, however, they are not only directed to the army?

It is true. Manufacturers drones are increasingly driven by the demanding market status. The army is not able to absorb all but certainly a potential buyer may be built Territorial Defence. Western Pomerania has also key elements of critical infrastructure, eg. Chemical Plant in Police, Port LNG in Swinoujscie, shipping lanes, expansive approach to the ports, it also has a modern technology can be successfully used by police, fire brigade and crisis management teams in the coastal municipalities in high season. Therefore, among the participants of the conference it was also the commander of the West Pomeranian fire brigade St. Brigadier Jacek Jaśkiewicz, but also representatives of the police. The Board of Maritime Ports of Szczecin and Swinoujscie already uses bezpilotowce monitoring and security at ports, and develops concepts for its use as mentioned by Adam Pawlak, head of the Security Ports. Other participants shared their experiences in the field of use drones in the military sphere m.in Col. pil Lukasz Andrzejewski-Popov, commander of the 12 Base BSP or Colonel. Tomasz Gugała Program Director Systems Bezzałowych PGZ. The conference was also attended by potential users of new technologies like Group Azoty, ports of Szczecin and Swinoujscie LNG terminal, the State Forests.
