On June 2, the Security Forum Szczecin conference was organized by the think tank Nobilis Media. The main title of the conference was the protection of critical infrastructure, anti-drone systems and investment in research and the purchase of missile and missile-artillery technologies. The honorary patronage was assumed by the Chairman of the Parliamentary National Defense Committee, Michał Jach.
In addition to Michał Jach, about 50 people participated in the conference, including MP Leszek Dobrzyński, chairman of the SKON standing Subcommittee for budget and finance of the Polish Armed Forces, Maj. Gen. Dariusz Parylak, commander of the 12th Mechanized Division in Szczecin, Commander Krzysztof Rybak from the Doctrine and Training Center of the Armed Forces, deputy commander of the 14th West Pomeranian WOT Brigade, Lt. Col. Mirosław Majdan, Konrad Barcewicz deputy director. Internal Security Agency in the Delegation in Gdańsk, Paweł Bakun, vice president of Grupa Azoty Polyolefins S.A. , Magdalena Jackiewicz President of the Management Board of Enea Owietlenia, CEO of Hertz Systems Zygmunt Rafał Trzaskowski, representatives of development and implementation centers and companies such as Telesystem Mesko, Enamor and Autocomp Management, as well as managers responsible for safety at Grupa Azoty S.A., Dolna Odra Power Plant, Szczecin Port Authority and Świnoujście and other enterprises of infrastructure essential for the security of the country.
The chairman of the Parliamentary Committee of ON Michał Jach and MP Leszek Dobrzyński emphasized the need to invest in modern technologies increasing the security of critical infrastructure, including anti-drone systems, which will help protect West Pomerania, becoming an energy hub not only for Poland, but also for Central Europe. Representatives of industry and research centers talked about their experiences with the work on the Shield for Poland and the use of modern missile technologies for its construction. Technologies and solutions for anti-drone systems for the protection of strategic objects were also presented.
